Date for the Xmas Party.

It’s not only lists I’m obsessed with - it’s also the calendar. I stare at the remaining days of the month all day long. Lately I’ve noticed just how quickly the [tag]December[/tag] [tag]holidays[/tag] are approaching, and with them the holiday [tag]party season[/tag]. As regular readers know, I’m not married and not heavily attached to anyone; the prospect of ‘who to take to the parties’ is looming in front of me.

Being the calendar watcher I am, I realize it’s time to ACT NOW to insure my dates are lined up. This is not unsimilar to realizing if you need to make hires before the end of the year, and certainly if you expect your new employee to start before 2007, the calendar is not your friend right now. [tag]Thanksgiving[/tag] week is a wash for many companies and [tag]candidates[/tag] due to vacation time, and after that it’s a slippery slope headed toward New Year’s Eve. If your client and coworkers need the extra help sooner than later, there is precious little time to bring your new hire on board. [tag]Talent Zoo[/tag] [tag]recruiters[/tag] can help make it happen; you only need to ask, then act. You don’t want to show up stag for the company holiday party, do you?
