Dig a Little Deeper
Rare diamonds do not sit on the top of the terra firma. If you want more than phenomenal caliber, then one must delve past the surface area. Have you noticed anything valuable requires a larger manifestation of energy? When you do accomplish it, whether it is the ideal weight or the perfect emerald, the value in its normal matter naturally increases. If you want diamonds, gold, water or oil, you have to dig and dig and dig for results.

Of course the correlation with excavating the earth and delving for candidates is an easy one. With a shovel in one hand and a pick ax in the other, we forge ahead breaking ground for the perfect talent to place in the trophy case. Sometimes the search stops a couple of feet in and other times we have to dig through a mountain side to find the quality requested.
Besides prodding for the best in talent, we have to dig to find the truth. This works on both sides from the client and to the candidate. With it being a candidate driven market, they have options. The rare gems have several options. We have to know where they have been and where they plan on going. Although they may be interviewing with you, we have to make sure there are no other offers on the table hidden in their back pocket. This includes any counter offer.
While prospecting for the perfect person to work for you, we have to have the proper projections to know where to dig. There needs to be a plan of action with detailed map and instructions of what you want. Our efforts become easier with your open communication. If you know what you are looking for, mining in the hills becomes easier. We will make sure to come prepared for the search by having the proper equipment from flash light to backhoe.

I am in total agreement with you. It seems like people want to find a superstar but want you just have one magically show up with no info.
We have to have all the nuggets of info that we can to bring forth the best fit we can for our clients.
I Love when our sucsess if controlled by others.
